Can you have photophobia (light sensitivity) without having an eye disease?
I was reading about photophobia and it seems to be caused by diseases or cataracts. Is it possible to have eyes which are overly sensitive to light, without there being any underlying condition?
Basically can you just have sensitive eyes without there necessarily being a cataract or a disease?
Thanks in advance.
Yes a l,ot of people have this. The eyes become gradually more senstive due to workign in artifical light for long periods. If you are worried, do say it to your optician at your next check up. Yoiu shoukld have a check up every 2 years any way
