Do people realize natural flavors are the same / worse than artificial flavors?
People don't seem to realize how many flavoring chemicals are added to our food. Who knows what we are even eating anymore – food companies can add in some concentrated chemicals to make stuff taste like whatever they want.
I am wondering if people even realize that "natural flavors" are no better than artificial flavors. Both are made in labs by flavor scientists and are just concentrated powders / liquids. It seems to me like people think "natural flavors" is using real fruit and stuff like that but that isn't the case at all.
No, I didn't know this. I do buy things that say natural and think that I am being healthy. This is very informative, thanks!
Natural is not synonymous with healthy. Snake venom and crude oil are natural too.
