Last week I enjoyed participating in a Blog Hop playing Two Truths and a Lie. thanks to everyone who participated in the hop and a special thanks to those who made a guess on this blog. and, like in any self-respecting makeover show, here is the reveal… (to this one game at least.)
Number 1: Leapin’ Lizards! I auditioned for the movie Annie when I was in middle school, but alas I was a little too “developed” to be cast as an orphan. OK OK maybe it was a talent thing but I’d like to think it was all about the B-cups.
True! I actually DID audition for the movie Annie when I was in middle school. I wore a cute little denim dress that was a couple of sizes too small to:
a. look short and cute like a little girl’s dress and, b. be tight enough to hold in the developing girls.
Number 2: I had to go to the ER once when an attempt to dye my eyebrows went awry. All is well now, but OUCH!
Oops…so false! yes, I have dyed my eyebrows at home but luckily I’ve never had a mishap. I took a look in the mirror today and it appears I need to redo them soon. Maybe I’ll try a professional and get one of those ridiculously expensive brow shaping treatments. Anyone ever give that a try?
Number 3: I’ve been dressed up with no place to go from time to time just to see if I could pull off a look. I totally think playing dress-up should not be limited to preschoolers.
Haven’t we all? I admit I don’t have the opportunity or energy to do it much in recent years but I am sure it’s in the near future as I try out a dress or two. A test run will definitely be needed for this jeans and t-shirt girl.
Thanks for playing! I plan to head over to the other participating blogs and read about their truths, lies, and more.
