Eyelash Growth?

My husband pulled out some of his eyelashes….enough of them in fact, that you can see a bald area!! He feels like a dork and wants to know when and IF they will grow back in.
My question is, how long does it take for eyelashes to grow back?

According to the below site, several months.

I wouldn't worry; mine come out on their own in patches, and they eventually grow back.
