How can I fix mistakes in Faux paint?

I did all of my walls and they look great except for the hall it was looking darker than the rest so I painted over it with my base color and tried to re faux it after 24 hours and you can see the line from were I painted previously and where I painted now, what can I do to fix it?

color you choose wil get darker when you paint it.
so why don't you paint where you see the line use black paint( any color paint that you can see over the line) or also paint any picture or
go to store where you bought the paint and ask the sales person.

Hi, as above and you can get a paint with a lower sheen level, that will reduce the light highlighting the fat edges and lapping. It will also pay to give the walls a sand with 180 grit sand paper especially in the noticeable areas. Now when you paint you must keep a wet edge as stated above. to do this cut in with the brush first making sure you brush out any large brush marks as you go, now get your roller and start at the same end you started cutting in at. Roll the paint on and don't be shy about constantly reloading the roller to keep a good layer of paint on, it is important (one of the biggest mistakes people make is not putting enough paint on,it gives an uneven finish) after you have rolled about a meter or so go back and lay off from top to bottom with the roller, this will give a uniform finish, do another meter or so and then lay off again from where you finished laying off before. I will say one more time to keep a good amount of paint on the roller sleeve, this will allow the paint to stay wet so you can go back and lay it of from top to bottom. when laying off you want the roller to be in need of dipping (reloading). Dont dip it just lay off and you will get a uniform finish. any problems send me an email and i'll help. good Luck.
Ps: when laying off don't press hard.
