eyelash growth

I am an Asian girl, so naturally I have almost no eyelashes (very thin and short). so I was wondering how to volumize my eyelashes. I know I could use mascara and recently I discovered that applying vaseline onto your eyelashes before you go to sleep can help make them grow overnight! any other tips?
