I have thick coarse black hair. i use pantene pro-v sheer volume shampoo every morning. my hair looks great. HOWEVER, at the roots of my hair there is dandruff (a lot). does this mean i have an oily scalp? HELP! i have been having this problem since the ending of high school.

Actually dandruff usually means the opposite. your scalp is dry. if it is not dry then try asking a health care professional for some prescription dandruff medicine.

You can check with a dermatologist,they can give you special shampoo that will take care of it.

Wash you hair with cider vinegar or apple juice.

It means your skin is dry, that's why you've got dandruff

If i have dandruff, that means i have an oily scalp, right?
