Is there really a mascara that makes your lashes look thicker and longer?

1276923613 41 Is there really a mascara that makes your lashes look thicker and longer? It seems like Ive tried them all. I have had some that made them look really long but not thicker. Is there a liner trick I can do to make them appear thicker? Or is my only hope false eye lashes? (which I dont know how to apply, LOL)
