My eyelashes were ripped out! I have a bald spot there now. Will they grow back? If so, how long?

They were ripped out when a HUGE boy was against me in a jump ball in gum class. I am a pretty small girl. Well he tcompletely missed the ball and clawed me in the eye. There was a cut right across my eylash area with blood everywhere. after i cleaned myself up i noticed my eyelashes were gone!

The same kind of thing happened to my sister. Her ex-boyfriend (who was a body-builder) accidently hit her in the eye and a huge clump of her eyelashes fell out, but they grew back.
You will be fine, I promise your eyelashes will grow back in. It will probably take a couple of weeks for them to be back to normal, maybe a little longer.
how old are you? if your under 18 they will grow back. normally you stop growing(inside) at age 17 or 18 then your eyelashes stop growing too. if they do then they will grow back the same langht, but they may grow back a shade or two lighter.
See a plastic surgeon for an eyelash implant; seriously.
Oh my gosh! You poor thing, I would feel so naked if I I had no eyelashes. *hug* Anyways, your eyelashes will mostly likely grow back but it will take a few weeks. I would hope eyelash and eyebrow hair grow at the same rate because when you pluck your eyebrows, they start to grow back in less than a week. I had some friends whose mom cut their eyelashes when they were young and they grew back really long. Putting on fake eyelashes will not affect the growth; it’s just like putting a hat on your head, it wont stop your hair from growing. Good luck and stay away from aggressive guys during gym class!
