My heated eyelash curler doesn’t work?!?

I bought a heated eyelash curler for about $28 and I heated it right up and it didn’t work. It didn’t curl my eyelashes at all. I held it against my lashes for about 30 seconds and it still didn’t work.

Hey, I made the same foolish mistake, here’s the solution:
Buy a regular eyelash curler and hold it under hot water for 5 seconds, dry it off and use it…..works so much better and so much cheaper.

How to Use Heated Lash Curler

Every woman wants to have long eyelashes. While some women have long eyelashes they love showing off, there are some women who are not blessed with long eyelashes. However there are some tips and products worth using to enhance the length of your eyelashes.

It is beneficial to apply olive oil or vitamin E oil to your eyelashes on a regular basis. These oils strengthen your eyelashes and let them grow longer before shedding. Some people prefer applying Vaseline for longer eyelashes, which is proven to work too.

However the difference between the two options is that while Vaseline clogs pores, vitamin E and olive oil don’t clog any pores. On the other hand, Vaseline has to be applied at night, and washed off in the morning.

Be careful if you trim eyelashes

It is however possible to wear olive or vitamin E oil using an eyelash brush, throughout the day. It is however better not to wear any mascara when you have vitamin E or olive oil on your eyelashes.

There are claims of people getting longer eyelashes after trimming them. However lots of care has to be applied if you wish to trim your eyelashes. You have to be careful to cut off only the edges and not more than a quarter of the length of the eyelashes. If you cut anything more than this, you will have to wait a long time for your eyelashes to grow to normal length.

Diet plays an important part in not only maintaining the condition of your skin and hair; it also has a part in enhancing your eyelashes. With the right nutrition and multivitamins, you will be able to easily grow long eyelashes.

Don’t let mascara dry out on eyelashes

If you are one of those who frequently use waterproof mascara, or any mascara for that matter, you have to realize that some mascaras tend to bond more tightly to eyelashes than others.

It is important that you don’t let your mascaras dry out as this can lead to eyelash breaking. To prevent eyelashes from drying out, it is better to use an eyelash conditioner like Ultracil before you apply any mascara to your eyelashes.

There are some vitamin B supplements found in cosmetics and health products. Biotin is usually prescribed for strengthening of hair and nails. However it has also been proven that it is also effective in enhancing eyelashes. Just ensure that it does not conflict with any pills you may be taking.

Heated curlers are better options

While metal ‘retro’ curlers tend to pull and break your eyelashes to give shorter eyelashes, it is better to use a heated eyelash curler for long eyelashes. These curlers are heated using a small metal coil which you have to use for brushing your eyelash upwards.

The heat produced here is sufficient to curl your eyelashes, without causing any burns. An additional benefit of using these heated curlers is that it is possible to put on mascara either before or after curling, unlike metal curlers where you can put on mascara only after curling.

Heated eyelash curler review

The title of this beauty column is “EYE” Spy, however, it also means I AM SPYING, always on the look out for new and exciting cosmetic products.

Step 1

It is always a good idea to use an eyeshadow base or concealer on the eyelid first. Doing this will ensure longer lasting eye makeup throughout the course of the day. This will also make the colors you are using look more vibrant.

Step 3

For this step you do not even need a brush. Simply use your finger of choice. I know, you probably think I’m crazy, but it works. Taking the darkest color of your color scheme apply the eyeshadow to the center of the eye lid working the color down to the lash line. Using the medium color, apply into the crease of the eyes. Last but not least use the lighter color and apply it to the

inside corner of your eyes. You should start to notice how your eyes are beginning to pop.

Step 4

Use a brow highlighter. This is to be applied to the brow bone, directly underneath the eyebrow. Doing this will accentuate and define those beautiful eyes.

Step 5

does the shu uemura eyelash curler work on straight, asian eyelashes? and should i get the mini or regular one? thanks =)

omg.i have really straight eyelashes too!
haha and im asian.
i hate how my lashes always stick out and downwards.
but anyways, i generally lie to use Japanese type eyelash curlers, because they fit our eye shape better.
ya i think any kind of eyelash curlers would work.
just as long as u now how to use one properly.
and get a regular one.
