Who would have ever thought of using honey for hair growth? But really, this liquid heaven is not just delicious to your taste buds; it is also from your head to your toe. It is as they call it, an all natural beauty treatment. Because honey is easy to access, there are also a lot of recipes that one can choose from to use for hair growth treatment.

Rosemary honey hair conditioner

We experience hot and cold throughout the year and the extreme changes in weather can make our hair look like straw. Using honey for hair growth nourishes the hair; with a blend of olive oil for moisture, rosemary for hair growth and honey for shine. Ingredients: You’ll need, ¼ cup olive oil (warmed), 4 drops essential rosemary oil, ½ cup honey, I tsp. Xanthum gum and of course, ½ cup of honey. Directions: Mix thoroughly all ingredients and pour in a shampoo container. Apply to damp hair and massage scalp thoroughly. Make sure that the mixture works through your hair completely. Cover with warm towel and leave for 30 minutes. Remove towel, shampoo lightly with regular shampoo and rinse.

Honey and cinnamon hair treatment is a popular way of using honey for hair growth. Honey and cinnamon can be used as a hair growth treatment. There are people who guarantee the effectiveness of this concoction but I doubt if they have evidence of research to support whatever effectiveness they are claiming. Ingredients: warmed olive oil, honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Directions: Make a paste of all the ingredients and massage on the scalp and let it rest for 15 minutes. After the allotted time, wash your hair with regular shampoo. Repeat this procedure three to four times a week.

Honey hair conditioner is another easy way of using honey for hair growth. Honey has been a long time favorite of beauty experts. They know that honey nourishes and moisturizes not only the hair but also the skin. Here is a conditioner that uses honey for hair growth treatment. Ingredients: 3-6 tbsp. of honey, 1-2 tbsp jojoba oil or olive oil and a few drop of favored essential oil.

Directions: Mix all ingredients and massage into your scalp. Leave for 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water; shampoo hair with regular shampoo and air dry hair.

Guidelines on choosing essential oil:

Dry or coarse hair: sandalwood, lavender, palmorarosa, or geranium.

Chemically damaged hair: sandalwood, lavender, frankincense, or geranium.

Blonde hair: lemon, geranium or chamomile.

Gray hair: sage, rose, lavender or geranium.

Hair loss: rosemary, juniper or lavender.

Dandruff: rosemary, eucalyptus, tea tree or cedar wood.

But for those who find using honey for hair growth weird and messy, just drink it, you can make a smoothie of banana, yogurt, honey and skim milk and this too can promote hair growth. It is true that honey can make you glow from head to toe.

eyelash loss… thyroid…..doctors?

i had my thyroid gland removed around 6 yrs ago, i have for the past 4 months (i gave birth 6 months ago too) ive been losing lots hair when i wash it, and also my eyelashes, i lost a big clump last night, i bought the ”talika’ which has made them longer in 28 days, but not stopped them falling out :( please help me… my eyelashes are my face if you know what i mean, i love to make my eyes stand out yet at minute they are standing out for wrong reasons :( im going doctors monday as my thyroid is all over place and i think that y im losing hair/ lashes, can you the doctor perscribe a treatment with a perscripion? im from u.k :O))

I assume that you have regular checks of your thyroid function, so it is unlikely that this is related. Unfortunately whatever the cause there are not really anything much to stop hair loss, especially from the lashes. Is the hair loss from your scalp uniform, or do you have bald patches ? One possibility is alopecia areata, this is auto immune and can sometimes follow pregnancy. It has no treatment, but tends to be self limiting with patches regrowing in 1-2 years.

Where can i find pageant accessory like Fake Eyelashes, Fake Hair stuff like that?

I might be going in a pageant soon. Im 9 years old and i need to find stuff like: Fake hair (wiglets), Fake eyelashes, your normal glitz pageant stuff. If you give me some ifno that would be great. Thanks!

The eyelashes you can get at Wal-mart or cvs in the beauty/makeup section.
The fake hair, if you are really 9 you are too big for a wiglet. They are for babies. You will need a fall.
They are very expensive. You cannot just get the cheap fake hair like at Claire’s or the dollar store, it is synthetic (plastic) and cannot be heat treated, curled, rolled etc.
You need to get a real human hair fall.
Be sure to order it in plenty of time before the pageant. You will need to wash it really good with a clarifying shampoo or a mixture of half shampoo and half baking soda. Put some mousse in it and comb it out. Air dry if you have enough time.
When it is COMPLETLELY dry (not even a little damp) roll it with hot rollers. Use Motions Foaming heat wrap (wal-mart ethnic hair care section) and roll from the front to the back and then do the sides. You will need at least 2 sets of hot rollers possibly 3. Do not overload the rollers with hair, use small sections of hair. Once the entire fall is rolled, spray it heavily with Freeze It hairspray (can be found at Wal-mart in a gold can). This needs to be rolled and set for at least a week before your pageant. Give your fall to your hair and makeup person the night before the pageant so they can have it styled and ready to go when you go in to have your hair and makeup done for the pageant day.
A great place to buy falls is at http://www.letsdanceonline.com/DancingDolls/HumanHair.htm
Good luck and if you have any more questions feel free to email me. I am here to help!

What should I do make-up wise for my bright red prom dress?

I have a bright red, strapless prom dress for prom, and i don’t have time on the day of prom to get my make-up done professionally. I have pale skin, brown hair, and brown with naturally super long eyelashes. I am at a total loss as for what to do with my eyes. Please Help!

Here are some ideas.

Mascara- since you already have very long lashes, I would suggest a mascara that either defines your lashes or thickens them.

Eyeliner- a liquid liner creates a strong look. If you use liquid liner, try a brown with a slight wing at the sides of your eyes. If you go for a pencil, use a brown or black pencil and smudge it for a hot mess look.

Eyeshadow- if you go for liner and mascara, you probably won’t need much eyeshadow. I do suggest that you wear a little. Sweep a light highlighting shade under your browbone and in the inner corner of your eye. Apply a light bronze to your lids.

Skin- a red dress will make the pink or red tones in your skin pop. Just use a little bronzed.

Lips- with such strong eyes, a glittery clear gloss over nude lipstick with balance well.

eyebrow tinting

eyebrow tinting eyebrow tinting
Eyebrow tinting! [plz answer]?

I’m considering getting my hair coloured a medium golden blonde with light golden blonde highlights [it was a medium golden blonde when I was younger, but it got darker] and so have my eyebrows. They’re a light/medium ashy brown and I don’t think they’ll go with my new hair. So I have the following questions:
Can eyebrow tinting lighten your eyebrow colour?
How long does it last?
How much does it usually cost?

Thanks so much!
I will pick a best answer!

I would get it done at the Salon…
