When applying individual eyelashes, is it better to…….?
When applying individual eyelashes, is it better to add them above the lash or underneath? This process is new to me and I searched youtube for tutorials. I've noticed that MOST put them above the eyelash line..and SOME put them underneath.
Is one method better than the other? What are the pros and cons? Does it make the appearance of them look any different?
When I apply them to the outter corner, I like putting them right above my lashline to give my eyes that lifted and widened effect. but, it looks more natural underneath the lashline everywhere else. Just be careful not to get any glue in your eye or on your top waterline; happened to me the first time
.
It's generally easier and safer to apply them above your natural lashes. The benefit of the individuals is that you can apply them closer to your natural lashline than you can with the strip of lashes, and fill in the areas that need it most. It also depends on the amount of space you have below your lashes. Personally, I never put them underneath and I would never put them underneath on a client, given that lashes are there to keep things out of your eyes.
